El Cocinero is just as much about the Havana arts scene as it is about food.  Built into the same building as the Cuban Art Factory, this paladar pushes the limits of private industry and government cooperation in an atmosphere offering landmark views and enthusiasm for a variety of mediums. 

In the heart of Havana’s Vedado neighborhood the Fonda la Paila paladar is an eclectic mix of workplace cafeteria, family barbeque, and old-west roadhouse that could only be found in Cuba. 

El Litoral.  As its name suggests, it is close to water.  Havana´s youngest contender for top dining experience is across the street is Havana´s picturesque sea wall, the Malecón.  Just beyond this iconic Cuban landmark are deep blue waters of the Straits of Florida...where your dinner was probably swimming earlier that morning.

El Chanchullero’s walls are like a yearbook of rowdy nights in Cuba; pasted over with boozy-fun photos and signed with endearing message from loyal clients.  These messages and pictures are testament to a paladar where locals and tourists mix like no place else in Havana.

 Cuban Coffee is known for its strong, sweet taste. It is traditionally made by mixing in sugar with the finely ground dark roasted coffee before the brewing begins and is served espresso style. 

Paladares are springing up everywhere in Cuba’s capital.  The most reviewed and anticipated locations are putting Havana
